Well its been two months since my last post and to be honest not a lot has happened. we have just been super busy with work and brody is killin it in school so we are pretty boring hence no posts. there are no babies, no new announcements, no huge events. just me and brodes doin the everyday stuff. but here are a few pics from the last little while.
so i feel like i need to explain these beauties. so we went up the canyon one fine evening and Taylor decided it would be funny to swim around half the lake so that he could sneek up on us by running out of the water. well it was so dark we could not see him until he came running out and it scared the crap out of everyone. then he started hugging christian and it kind of got awkward for the rest of us.
So a couple a weeks ago me and brodes decided we needed a little break so we packed up our stuff and headed to laguna. We were lucky to have the company of the barker girls and my little sister with her adorable boyfriend brayden. We stayed at my aunt jeanne's and just went to the beach everyday! It was so much freakin fun! I think brody got pretty sick of me saying "lets just pack up our shiz and move here i mean why not?" ha ha he would just look at me and laugh. But you know what I know one day down the road we will. Life is too short to let go of dreams. It was so nice to have so much fun with people that i just love so so much! I am all smiles.
So last weekend I had a serious case of PMS (brody can back me up on that) and for all those ladies out there that have PMS I hope you can relate to all those awesome emotions you go through in this blessed week. Seriously nothing makes you happy I think once a month I should be shipped off to an island so that no one pisses me off and I wont either bite their head off or start crying for no apparent reason. For those of you who are reading this and are thinking "I never feel like that" I hate you.
So through the last few years I have come to find the few things that I can count on to get though this time. Taking a walk or aything outside with distractions is AMAZING! I know i sound psycho but here is my reasoning.
1.A girl might think food but when you are PMSing you eat to make yourself feel better and then after you just feel worse because you just ate your body weight in cheese and you already felt nasty.
2. Then there is always shopping. My husband always laughs at me when he walks into our closet and I am just standing there and I am almost in tears because I have nothing to wear. ha ha I hate this moment more then anything. So then you think lets go shopping but for some reason when all this is going on you can not make a freakin decision on anything because your feelings are so wacked you have no idea what you are really looking for. So you wonder the mall in sweats (because thats the only thing you want to wear) hating everyone that passes you and looks cute.
So hence THE WALK or hike or bike whatever just to get you out and away from people who dont know what the hell is going on with the crazy girl.
Now I know that I totally just went off on a tangent but seriously if you read this and you can relate to this please let me know that you can relate so I can tell myself I am not a complete mad women.
I had the pleasure of taking a walk with my mom and my sister last week and it was so much fun. If any of you need a walking buddy through this special week let me know I am here for you. They hated me for bringing my camera but i am so happy I did.
THEN IT WAS BRODY'S BRITHDAY! Poor guy has his birthday 2 days after christmas so we have to make sure it does not blend in to christmas so we went out with friends that night and then the next morning we went to our favorite place for breakfast ever (Ruths Diner) we highly recommend it. It was fun to celebrate it with friends and then my mom and brothers came. good times!
so i have been so lame and totally slacked off on the bloggin but i thought i should put up some picks from the last little while. there is kind of a lot since i am started with freakin christmas but hey what can ya do. It has been such a good year so far and i know that it is only going to get better. love ya all!
So i got this off of Amy's blog and i had to see what the little kiddies will look like one day and this was it. ha ha it's so fun you have to do it! i would make sure you pick a picture with the right angle because the first baby got me and brodes a little worried.
